Today I was working on another project photographing textures in nature,one of the subjects is pebbles and rocks in macro and close up.I spent 5 hrs today covering a 200yard stretch of beach and I spotted this Amygdaloidal basalt pebble which I shot using a canon 105mm f2.8 macro lens.What is interesting is that rocks from vast areas of Scotland can be found on one beach.www.scotphoto.com
