This is one of my favourite abstract art themes,Its Pittenweem village in Fife,Scotland, with its 16th cent buildings with red pantiles. This is now available on a 80x60 canvas print and looks really cool.www.scotphto.com
Captured this magnificent scene late afternoon with dramatic light on the mainland hills and Duart castle,Island of Mull.Argyll,Scotland.The ferry is MV" Lord of the Isles"heading out to Lochboisdale.Uist from Oban.
We often go out looking for new pictures of boats/trains/and planes,Here I captured the Glasgow to Fort William train passing over this magnificent Horseshoe viaduct near Bridge of Orchy.Shooting right into the sun does help to bring out the colour of foreground water and vegatation when backlit.More at www.scotphoto.com which now has over 5000 pictures on a searchable data base.simply search, choose, pay, and download your file.
Captured this lovely sunset afterglow at Oban airport with the control tower and access road. From here you can fly to Tiree, and Colonsayand Coll.www.scotphoto.com

I always believe that oban becomes a more vibrant place when lit up at Dusk, for example the tower is almost hidden amongst the similar coloured granite houses in daylight, whilst after dark it becomes the symbol of Oban glowing in the night sky like a beacon. That is why it must be floodlit at all times. This has not been the case ie for the winter festival display,Its oban,s eiffel tower, its oban,s whitehouse, the sydney bridge, its obans blackpool tower,it represents Oban!!
