The Paparazzi Cafe Bar and Restaurant Oban Argyll


This venue has a very modern city look so I thought a few quirky shots would be in order and I was well pleased with the Black/White image taken of the unusual stainless steel Bar. This Fab new concept is a joint venture between Laine and Rory.

This new city style Cafe,Bar,and Restaurant opened in Oban late December was an enjoyable challenge for Tony and myself. It has very low but colourful lighting and I very much liked the overhaul ambiance.here is a shot taken from the Kylie portrait.

This new cafe bar and restaurant opened recently in Oban,and we were commissioned to take interiors of this city style bar which has a small disco dance floor.Here is a picture taken from near the entrance looking and using a mixture of colour and black and white for effect

Now here was a challenging job we did on Tuesday at the Paparazzi club in Oban.Recently opened,this is a very smart establishment,well appointed and with a great ambiance albeit with very low lighting. WINTER VIEW FROM BATTLESHIP HILL OBAN


Dennis Hardley took this new picture of Dunollie castle and the snow covered Island of Mull from Battleship hill near Oban with the Mull ferry "MV Isle of Mull" sailing through the shot .
The island of Kerrera is also in view. Nikon D3X with a 50mm f1.4 nikon lense.

Here is a picture taken across the frozen caledonian canal at Corpach towards britains highest mountain"Ben Nevis" the mist had just cleared giving great light and clarity to the image.

This is how Ben nevis looked from the caledonian canal at Corpach which was frozen over to give this unusual view towards Britains highest mountain.

RECENT WINTRY CONDITIONS CAPTURED BY DENNIS


During the long winter spell we were out looking for new shots and managed to get this winter wonderland scene near Glenfinnan. The mist had just lifted and this was the result, with the dampness and freezing conditions combined.It was minus -9 below at the time.

Dennis Waited around for a possible sunset from the south end of the island looking across to Ardentinney.After a long wait it was not much of a sunset but it could have been worse.Here is one of the shots taken last night. Dunollie castle Sunset with Clansman Jan 2010


Today Dennis was photographing ferries from battleship hill and later from Dunollie castle at sunset.This view, shot today, shows the Clansman passing Kerrera at sunset as seen from the ruins of Dunollie castle.Oban. Its a 5 Hr trip to Castlebay.
