Kilchurn castle Sunset by Dennis Hardley Photography


Todays photography ended on a high with this dramatic sunset silhouette of Kilchurn castle ruins taken from the head of Loch Awe by Dalmally.I just had a feeling the sunset would be worth the waiting around in a cold easterly and good golly miss molly it was.Canon EOS1Ds MK 3 with a 28-135mm lense.

SUNSET OVER THE MULL OF KINTYRE BY DENNIS HARDLEY PHOTOGRAPHY


The Mull of Kintyre truly inspired Paul McCartney to write a song about this beautiful part of Scotland.It also inspired Dennis Hardley to find this view at sunset which looks towards the Mull of Kintyre and the coast of Northern Ireland.Great for grazing,Great for Geologists,and great for photographers.

It was late in the afternoon when I took this picture of a group of Wind Turbines at Tangy on the Kin tyre Peninsula when the sky turned a gentle pink from the upturned sun which had disappeared under the clouds.

Yesterday Dennis set out for Kintyre to get pictures of a wind farm at Tangymill,these of all subjects need some thought and creativity.I stayed until dusk and took this shot with a truly magnificent pink afterglow in the sky.

Golden fields near Lossiemouth Moray

South American group from Equador in Blackpool


Dennis caught this picture of an amazing group from Ecuador whilst performing in Blackpool last week.The music,colour and especially the pan pipe sound was great.Blackpool is undergoing great changes at present with a fantastic new prom and there is always something interesting going on.The illuminations are always a big draw in october.

TRALEE BAY HOLIDAY PARK BY BENDERLOCH


This is another of the images taken last sunday at Tralee -bay holiday park this time using a very wide lense and back-lit reeds on the lochan in this well kept holiday park.When taking autumn shots in particular,shooting against the sun (back lighting) gives a great effect which allows the light to penetrate through the leaves.

Sunday was a really nice day over on the west of scotland, another of our clients are "Tralee bay holiday park" so I went over there and captured some autumn scenes around the still waters of a picturesque Lochan which is overlooked by Log Cabins. What a lovely place to spend your holidays and relax amongst some of argyll s finest scenery.

This is one of the finest houses I have photographed for a wee while,its coming on the market soon and situated overlooking Oban bay. I really enjoyed photographing this place,here is the picture taken just inside the front door looking into the magnificent hall.

Dennis was asked by Savills recently to photograph this beautiful property in Oban.Its called the Drury and overlooks oban bay from its dominating position.I spent two days in this house and was most impressed by its size and the quality of the internal fittings, ie (en suites etc).

Lytham St Annes Windmill Lancs


Took this shot last week in Lytham St Annes depicting the famous windmill at dusk with a magenta sky.This is a lovely stretch of coastline which runs from Lytham to St Annes and onto Blackpool and fleetwood.I also have my pictures in a lovely gallery called "Oscars" in Lytham.
