Image Selections

Spent an hour this morning putting together a selection of images of Local Landscapes for a local Hotel.A similar image appeared on the first print run of my :"Secrets of Scotland" coffee table sized book published by Lomond.The latest edition of the book has Dunnottar Castle on the front cover.

Todays C130 shoot

After playing-around on Adobe photoshop I managed to come-up with an abstract version of this mornings image.

2nd C130 Shoot

After my brief C130 photo-shoot this morning I received info of a 2nd C130 approach to Oban Airport. Again the two C130's were the new J model.The image displayed was shot at a shutter speed of 250th of a second using a 100-400 canon lens on continuous shooting mode.This particular Aircraft has an overall green livery.

Just received a call from the airport that a C130 J was on approach to Oban airport.. Managed to get some nice shots at a shutter speed of 600 ( ISO 400) using the EOS 1DS MKIII .I added motion-blur to the props.

Today we started work at 8 am and started another long day processing more commercial imagery from the last few days. we also spent part of the day shooting interior shots for a new up and coming Hotel. Also processed new sunset shots from Saturday night for the Isle of Eriska Hotel..
