Castles Girnigoe and Sinclair are fine examples of medieval structures situated on the cliffs on noss- head north of Wick in Sinclair bay.Girnigoe was a late 15th cent crow-stepped gabled L Plan tower house.sadly this is all thats left.Nearby was a 17th cent cluster of towers know as Sinclair castle.dennis hardley photography
