Remmember I visited Tiree a couple of weeks ago,well here is another picture depicting the famous Machair which can be seen around late may and throughout June.I was on Tiree as part of a commission and although the island is famously flat and low it does have many truly amazing beaches.You can see some of these on my website at http://www.scotphoto.com/ and go to latest landscapes 09.Meanwhile take a look at this shot near Balevullin showing the amazing profussion of flowers known as the Machair.
