The conditions were really freezing when I took this photograph of Glenfinnan monument from the shore of Loch Shiel Lochaber.But with frozen fingers I waited until sunset hence the pink afterglow in the skye which also bathed the Bonnie prince charles monument.

When I saw the tyre track on the beach I thought about the title,so I actually waited for a couple to pass by which they did amazingly,hence the title "off the Beaten Track"Even though I am over 70 years of age I am constantly thinking of new ways to create Art.

I am always looking for something thats a bit different in photography,so how about this unusual shot of the Rotunda situated on the quayside in Glasgow.I set my camera with an open shutter and drove my car around in a circle with all the lights blazing.including hazards etc.
